T/R module
Category:
- Description
-
The T/R module is the core component of an RF system. Its primary functions are to amplify and process RF signals during transmission to drive antenna radiation, and to amplify and filter the weak echo signals received by the antenna during reception. At the same time, it enables rapid switching between transmit and receive modes, preventing strong transmitted signals from damaging the receiver circuit.
We can provide customized products based on the customer’s actual application needs.
• Shortwave T/R Module Product Parameters
Frequency range
1.6 MHz to 30 MHz
Output power
≥52 dBm (50 Ω load)
Amplifier input signal
≤ -7 dBm (rated output)
Amplifier gain flatness
≤±1.5dB
Amplifier intermodulation distortion
≤ -28 dBc (△f = 600 Hz)
Harmonic suppression for transmission
Second harmonic ≤ -50 dBc (typical); third harmonic ≤ -60 dBc (typical)
Scattered
≤ -60 dBc (room temperature)
Power rise time
≤20ms (from receiving the excitation signal to power reaching 90% of full power)
Transmit/Receive Key-Controlled PTT
PTT = 0V: Transmitting allowed, receiving prohibited; PTT = 3.3V: Receiving allowed, transmitting prohibited.
Amplifier input signal overload protection
The power amplifier will not be damaged when the input signal exceeds 30 dBm.
Amplifier input/receiver output standing wave ratio
≤1.5:1
Amplifier protection function
a) Overheat Protection: Overheat protection (when the amplifier unit exceeds +80℃, the amplifier will stop power output and issue an alarm signal);
b) Overcurrent protection: When the current exceeds the rated value, the power amplifier will stop delivering power and issue an output alarm level.
c) Standing Wave Protection: Equipped with protection against both open-circuit and short-circuit loads. The output can withstand an open or short circuit for up to 10 seconds without damage. When the output standing wave ratio is 6:1, the power amplifier operates normally; however, if the SWR exceeds 6:1, the power amplifier activates its protective mode, ceasing power output and triggering an alarm level at the output.Low-noise amplifier for the receive channel
Operating frequency band: 1.6 MHz to 30 MHz; gain no less than 35 dB, noise figure ≤ 3.4 dB, OIP3 ≥ 20 dBm.
Receiver channel attenuation
The receiving channel can be configured with three attenuation levels: 5 dB, 10 dB, and 20 dB.
Insertion loss of the receiving channel
≤3.8 dB
Transmit-receive switching time
≤20ms
Power consumption
≤500W
Other
The receiving channel features segmented filtering functionality: a bandpass filter bank is installed at the output end of the receiving channel.
Divided into 4 segments: 6M-9M, 9M-13M, 13M-19M, 19M-28M• L-band T/R module product parameters
